About PoE Starter Builds
A fan site that picks league starters for Path of Exile 1 from ladder data, class by class.
PoE Starter Builds answers one question per league: what should I start with? The answer sits on the league starters page, one or two picks for each of the seven classes, revised as the league comes into view.
Picks are built on public ladder snapshots from poe.ninja: for every ascendancy we count the main skills its characters used at the end of a league's first week, and keep the builds that held up across consecutive leagues. Budget and difficulty ratings are our own judgement. We do not copy other people's guides. Reference characters are links to public poe.ninja snapshots from SSF softcore, chosen near the middle of each build's sample rather than the top.
